The BTSSB dress is just ~LURVVVEEEE. So what if Sui dollie hates it, I love it XD;;
It's got so many different laces and ruffles, the lace is soft, it's beautifully made, the headdress has got teeny tiny gold hairpins, the socks are REAL socks (not the kind sewn together from t-shirt material) and the wristlets -- oh, I love the wristlets. Teeny-tiny doll-sized lace, AWESOME. I didn't have a really good opinion from seeing pictures of it, but it really does look good.

I can't get over this either:

HAND RACK! Wuh, what are those two on the upper right doing to each other? O.o

Camera's "Creative Lights" thing in action. It turns any light dots into little heart shapes. A very pointless feature, but I'm tickled pink by it XD;;

I got a lot of things done that day. Have new books, new vacuum cleaner, more new books, new toys... and one of my dolls has her own doll now XD . I wonder if she's gonna start a collection too ^^;;

Well, it was packaged in plastic and paper so I didn't notice til I opened it and washed it before trying to cook maggi mee in it (which explains why it's wet)

YEAH MAN. I don't know if the shape was actually intentionally designed that way or what, but it was kinda weird for me ^^;;

I rather thought the cover fitted the pot better this way:

But the handle being on the inside is kinda inconvenient, no? ^^;;

Luckily the handle construction is not unusual, so I managed to fix it:

(As for the maggi mee, it was the new healthy type. Man, I prefer the older unhealthy type that was all salty and mushy... But it's bad for health, so I guess I should try and get used to this one ^^;; )

It's 11am. Kim Gary's Bukit Tinggi AEON Shopping Centre is deserted, right? Apart from one couple, I think some of the staff were having their meals. I have to practically walk up to the dude who is at the counter, and he seems surprised to actually have not one, but two (sets) of customer(s) this early before lunch.

Somehow when I'm choosing where to sit, I always like the booth seats, and somehow I chose the one directly behind the couple. This is a little odd? Usually I would sit a little further away?

After ordering, I'm tired and close my eyes for a bit, and then BANG!! -- there's a loud crash behind me.

I thought at first someone dropped a plate or something (biasalar in restaurants), I turned around and see white pieces of plastic on the floor. There is actually no one behind me; for a good long while I'm trying to figure out what fell and broke. Can't be ghost rite?

Then I realised -- it's the plastic light cover embedded in the wall of the restaurant. The lighting is actually flourescent tubes covered by white plastic along the wall, and somehow the one behind me just.... exploded.

Ngam-ngam the table I sit got no such lighting, but imagine if I had chosen one table down, I would be hit squarely by exploding pieces of plastic!

After this I was a little scared to sit there and changed place, but yanno, I feel very lucky somehow ^^;;

In other news, Katherine is EVIL. I have 22ribbons, the threat of even nicer yukatas on the way and I LOVE the one I just bought ^^;; My poupee's here, if you wanna see her (check the calendar for 8th July if you're reading this sometime later -- that is, if I haven't found another yukata I like better (and can afford ^^;; )

Um, yeah, if my poupee's gonna get married, at least there should be a groom?

On the other hand, if I have to buy my poupee a bridegroom... it kinda feels like buying a sex doll or an escort service?? ^^;;

Or... actually it should feel the same as buying Rosy a boyfriend??? XD;;

I don't know why I spent so many ribbons on a veil that I can't use for anything else... orz I do love love love the dress, and I bought the other stuffs just to complete it ^^;;

I... should be saving up ribbons for the yukata event, but I've got my eye on the green dress -- I think it's lovely (the green headdress though, kinda reminds me of cabbage leaves pasted to the head... ^^;; )
ETA: Wow more stuffs was added. Haha, I give up, I think I'll just quietly go back to saving up for the yukata and (possible?) swimsuit event ^^;;

Hell must be waiting for your car being serviced while the TV in the waiting lounge is playing some random thriller movie. Imagine trying to do work to the soundtrack of some random girl either crying hysterically or throwing a hissy fit. And the guy is either irritating or annoying. And the plot s*cks grandma's eggs. We haven't reached the end and I want to kill them both myself. Heck, I should kill the director whilst we're at it, he shouldn't be allowed to make anymore movies =.=

Thank heavens for headphones. And music. And laptops. Though I should probably replace mine. Music is only coming out on one side, and it rattles when I shake it? O.o

I got this message saying my paypal account had been restricted, and that I should clear this up with the Resolution Center.

A little worried, I opened up a new browser window and directly typed the paypal address in -- https://www.paypal.com. THIS IS WHAT SAVED ME, I ALWAYS OPEN A NEW BROWSER TAB/WINDOW TO DO THIS.

I was really surprised to see nothing wrong with my account at all. The Resolution Center was just -empty- O.o

After that, I went back to email messages and saw that there were sooooo many things wrong with it that I was surprised I was even taken in the first time. Yeah, feeling sheepish now ^^;;

Countdown of signs I should've known it was a scam mail:

6. It ended up in my Spam folder. (ok, nothing big, but previous paypal emails ended up in my inbox)

5. Wonky English. "We have temporary limited your access" ? "Account suspention"?? XD;;

4. "We recently reviewed your account"? Nobody does this. It's always a transaction that sets off a red flag, not a review. Even if it was a review everybody likes to use the excuse "the computer flagged your account".

3. "Dear Paypal(r) customer"? Cheesy as it is (to read), I'm glad Paypal always send email addressing me by name, just to prove they know it.

And it gets weird:

2. The email address is NOT mine O.o I ran it through CentralOps.net and, last night, it didn't exist. What. the. heck??? Why is it in my mailbox at all???

And the clincher:

1. The link for the "Resolution Center" -- were you fooled? It says paypal.client-confirmation.com, which means it's sending you to client-confirmation.com instead of paypal.com. They just tacked a "paypal" in front hoping you wouldn't notice. I can only plead late-night tiredness for missing this one entirely, I actually was only wondering why it was http instead of https (the "s" means it's a secure server"). Wah so blur ne ^^;;

Now I'm feeling really lucky, though the truth is this kinda scam mail is probably common, and probably went out to a lot of people ^^;;

And finally we get some Kohane action! Though, I guess it's gonna be more chapters of absolutely nothing happening for awhile now. *sigh =.=

Though, the first few pages of Chapter 155 warms the fujyoshi corner of my heart. Doesn't all that bickering suggest a slightly jealous Doumeki? XD;; And there's this wonderfully domestic scene (Watanuki asking Doumeki what he'd like to eat asdfsagrfehk ^_______________^ )

...But you folks already knew that, right? ^^;;

It starts with my brother's birthday (it was last Sat, which is why I waited til today to post it).

Well, he likes reading, and he likes anime, so we figure, give him a Popular (bookstore) voucher, since it sells both. Except, Popular doesn't do gift vouchers ^^;;

So we figure, we'd just make up a voucher saying we'd buy him $x amount of whatever at Popular

Which was kinda troublesome, why not just give him the money direct?

Which was kinda cliched and cold, because giving cold hard cash just really implies that you couldn't care less to shop for a thoughtful gift, right? ^^;;

...I'm writing all this to explain exactly why we thought it'd be a good idea to laminate money as a birthday gift ^^;; Which, you know, normal, sane people don't do, right?

We took the precaution of first enclosing the money in a little protective pocket cut from clearholder refill packs.

And yes, we did a trial run with a piece of serviette folded to roughly the size of RM50 note. It worked perfectly, and we were able to retrieve the serviette from the lamination. I'm not that crazy XD;;

So we prepared a RM5 note, on the basis that if something goes wrong, at least it's only an RM5 note (I don't know why we didn't do an RM1 note ...)

And... things do go wrong

The note got stuck in the lamination machine

My god, panic man, my sis needs that machine to finish her ISO stuff too ^^;;

So we go at it with tweezers, screwdrivers, metal rulers, pliers, metal cutters... anything that looked like it would be able to pry the little RM5 from the machine ^^;;

No go.

It's still under warranty but bro's birthday was tomorrow...

We stared at all the stickers...

And decided, HECK!

So we took the thing apart

Like so:

NOW we could retrieve the RM5 ^^;;

Which was crinkled LIKE WHOA

Next we reassembled the laminating machine, which, still works.

And the warranty?

(Well the stickers came off rather easily, so we only peeled them halfway, then stuck them back on again. It's like NEW! We never opened it I swear! 8D )

You'd think we'd have stopped there, but yanno, I said, since we now know how to open the machine... let's try the RM50 anyways. (Well, it ate the RM5 but didn't actually harm it, so I figure, what hey XD;; )

So then

The machine ate the RM50 too =.=

Luckily the RM50 and RM10 were both on a single A4 laminating sheet, so instead of opening the whole thing, we just turned it off and PUUUULLLLLLEEEDDDD it out ^^;;

Woh, we should stop here, right?

Now, if the RM5 got stuck, and the RM50 also got stuck, one might actually surmise that it's a bad idea to laminate money -- perhaps the thickness, or the layers, or *something* about them causes laminators to jam?

The RM10 was not only laminated perfectly, the machine re-laminated the RM50 all the way through. We don't know why either. It boggles us both =.=

So at the end of the day, we had this to give my bro:

Apparently the cafe specialises in luring females in with beautiful, beautiful, cakes that are nothing short of soft, sugary bits of heaven XD;;

It's true, while I was there the other customers were mostly ladies, except for these couple of dudes macho-ly sitting outside the cafe.

I even asked my sis if perhaps they were putting extra effort into their food presentation because I had a camera? She said nope, stuff here always looks pretty. XD;;

We ordered one creme brulee and got one free

Yes, it was a very lovely bit of soft heaven, with crunchy toasted sugar on top ^______________^ Why don't more restaurants serve creme brulee?

Don't be fooled by the decadent display... those biscuits are... very healthy crackers XD;;

If the working definition of a dollmeet is, more or less, a meeting of two or more dollowners and their dolls, then surely three dollowners, two dolls and a couple of pairs of feet count as a dollmeet? XD;;

All right, all right, reason #1 for the (fake) "dollmeet" is that amberng brought Bijou's feet for me try on Sui, and the flat feet to see if I wanted them (I did, so Oliver's feet is settled!) XD;;

Reason #2 is: Blackwing_dias came to give me these:

She also came to give some tutoring help (tutoring hell? XD;; ) to some of her fellow collegemates (you can see them in the background of Sui's full shot)

During the AE, for some reason, I got this glitch:

Personally, I think this is, like, the best page you can get, because it implies an entire sea of BTSSB salopettes waiting to be bought XD;; The one to worry about is when it says "There is a little bit left over", which actually means, "Even if you click it the item might sell out in the 5 nanoseconds it takes you to react to this message" XD;;

The problem? It wasn't clickable. At all.

About an hour into the AE and it's still the same. ^^;;

Rose's page had the same error too ^^;;

Luckily, I only had a little bit of heart set on the salopette thing, so it was no great loss not being able to buy it. It's just... weird O.o

amberng is my goddess of luck today, she got all the items we wanted into her cart (she had the same error with the BTSSB stuff.)
